from 625 reviewsThis is a true compression bag.Included with the bag is a small pump which is used to remove the air when the bag is closed.I was able to pack enough t-shirts and shorts for a 7 days overseas trip into the bag.To compress, it was simply a matter of zipping the bag almost shut, pressing down to expel as much air as possible then closing the zip fully. After that, I attached the pump and pumped out the remaining air. When compressed, the bag took up way less space in my bag than the uncompressed t-shirts and shorts would have.Great product that I would recommend to anyone trying to save space.

This will be perfect for cycling and hiking trips. It’s relatively small but certainly big enough for 2-3 days worth of active wear clothing. Once you zip it up no air can get in or out and the fabric used is water resistant which is an added benefit. Now I don’t have to worry about wet clothes if it rains. The pump is very noisy and I found just squishing the air out manually just as effective in terms of compressing the bag.Another bonus is the light on the bottom of the pump with a metal handle to hang or utilize as a torch.

This product is a game-changer for packing! The compression bag is strong, durable, and reduce the size of my clothes significantly, saving tons of space in my suitcase, I was able to pack twice as much!I was impressed with the compact pump, which is easy to use and super quick, I was able to take it with me, and not rely on a vacuum cleaner - which makes sense! Also I was surprised it came with a Boston valve adapter which fits my air mattresses. So this will definitely be perfect for camping. The airtight seal holds up well. Everything was still right where I'd left it when I arrived I haven't tested the waterproofness, but given the seal was still intact - it is pretty implied this will also be successful!

This vacuum compression packing bag is the perfect solution for saving space while traveling. It comes with an easy-to-use electric battery pump that quickly removes air from the zippered, lightweight travel bag. Ideal for long trips or weekend getaways, this kit helps you fit more into your suitcase, backpack, or carry-on.I tested the bag by placing a bulky jumper inside, and after compressing it, I saw a noticeable reduction in size, roughly 30% less bulk, making it easier to pack and organise.

I travel a lot for work and weather conditions often vary greatly, especially when I go to Tasmania and NZ. This means that I usually pack a few different jackets but never wear a couple of them, even though they still take up room in my suitcase. When I stumbled upon this Vacuum Travel Bag & Pump by Beyond Trails the other day, I ordered it because I could see the potential benefits immediately....and I am genuinely surprised by how good this product is.First of all, I need to mention that the bag isn't huge. It fits my 3 x Kathmandu coats (a lightweight hoodie, a mid-weight fleece and a duck down jacket) but don't expect it to fit too much. It also works best when the clothing has a decent amount of air that can be removed e.g. cotton, spandex, or polyester, as well as coats. My initial experience wasn't great as it literally took over 10 mins using the pump just to get an average result with the compression. This was so frustrating that I was about to give up on the product when I decided to contact Beyond Trails via Amazon, and I also reached out to them directly (using the QR code on a card inside the packaging). I received a reply within 30 mins and the advice I received completely changed my experience with this product; I was advised to put the clothes inside, close the zip and then manually squeeze the bag a few times to get most of the air out via the integrated one-way valve.....and THEN use the tiny little vacuum pump to remove the rest of the air. Wow, this made a massive difference and it was SO much quicker than only using the pump. I couldn't believe that manually squeezing the vacuum bag would remove so much air (!!) and now I'm not sure that I'll bother taking the pump with me when traveling because simply squeezing the bag removes a crazy amount of air.During the testing process, I also came to believe that the vacuum pump I received may have been faulty because the suction was considerably less than I thought it should be for a product like this. I mentioned this during my email correspondence with BeyondTrails and after some back and forth to ascertain the details of the situation, I was informed that a replacement pump would be sent to me. I received the new pump very quickly and whilst the pump suction still isn't as strong as I think it should be, it's definitely a little better than the first pump I received. The quality of the vacuum bag is very, very good. I'll be honest and say that I wasn't expecting much when I ordered this product because some competing products are considerably more expensive. However, this bag is obviously very good quality at a quick glance but a closer look shows high attention to detail all-round: the zipper and zip puller are excellent and feel VERY solid, the one-way valve is high quality and the seams around the outer perimeter and at both ends are well done. Even the screen-printed company logo and slogan on the side is highly professional, with no raised edges or anything else that could crack or peel with use over an extended time. The pump is a really neat little unit, with an electronic lock function for the on/off switch, a USB C port with integrated rubber seal, and a multiple-LED light at one end. At the other end (where the vacuum port is located), there's also a wire clip that can be used to suspend the pump overhead so the LED light can be used to illuminate your tent or just turn the pump into a handy little torch. To be honest, the wire clip gets a bit annoying at times because it tends to flop down and get in the way when using the vacuum port and I think a great idea would be to make a very minor change to the plastic molding around the edge so the wire clip can be clicked into place when not being used.In terms of compression, I estimate that I get approx 65% compression with my jackets, and this is more than enough for me to justify always using this product when traveling from now on. As mentioned above, I probably won't even bother taking the pump because a) manually squeezing the bag removes a massive amount of air, and b) not taking the pump will save me approx.130 grams....and every gram saved is important to travellers.A few little extras also come in this package: 2 x different-sized adapters for the pump's vacuum port, a small nylon drawstring pouch for the pump & adapters, and a good-quality silicon luggage tag. I'm actually very fussy about luggage tags and initially disregarded this item completely but when writing this review, I looked closely at the tag and was really impressed with it! I'll definitely be using this from now on.Overall, this product is a solid investment for anyone needing to save space. The vacuum bag could be a little bigger and another thought I had when writing this review is that perhaps the company could offer a few different-sized bags in future product offerings? A more powerful vacuum pump would also be good but as mentioned, simply squeezing the bag produces such good results that a...

It's actually smaller than I thought but four t-shirts still left more than 50% of space to be filled in. The material is water-proof and the zipper is very premium and is very airtight. The accompanying electronic pump has two adaptors but for this bag, you only need one. By the way, the pump also doubles as a tiny lamp with a hook so you can hang this in a tent if needed. There is a bag tag that comes with it which you won't really need if this bag simply goes into a larger luggage.Overall a very good product.

These air tight vacuum luggage bags from Beyond Trails are an excellent investment for travellers trying to downsize baggage sizes. They are built tough, easy to use, come with their own vacuum pump and literally save up to 50% of luggage space.

Saves heaps of space when packing and also saved over $300 because I didn’t have to buy extra baggage for my Europe tripGreat quality, definitely going to buy 2 or 3 more bags

I’m so glad I found Beyond Trails, the compression this pump is capable of is awesome! Really high quality gear and even includes the luggage tag. Cool branding and am keen to see what else they put out so I can expand my travel gear! Super fast shipping too, great customer service. 10/10
