Simple Steps For Maximum Compression

  1. Place items in the bag
  2. Fully close the zip
  3. Undo the one way valve
  4. Press down on the bag to remove as much as air as possible (you can also kneel on the bag or lean on it to compress even further)
  5. Use the pump to suck out any remaining air (if required, not necessary)
  6. Close the one way valve
  7. Go Adventure.

Things To Consider

The amount of compression you can obtain will depend on the type of clothing you are putting in the bag.

For example, something like a fleece or puffer jacket will compress significantly whereas if you are trying to compress a bag full of denim you won't get the same results.

Real compression bag

This is a true compression bag.Included with the bag is a small pump which is used to remove the air when the bag is closed.I was able to pack enough t-shirts and shorts for a 7 days overseas trip into the bag.To compress, it was simply a matter of zipping the bag almost shut, pressing down to expel as much air as possible then closing the zip fully. After that, I attached the pump and pumped out the remaining air.When compressed, the bag took up way less space in my bag than the uncompressed t-shirts and shorts would have.Great product that I would recommend to anyone trying to save space.

Quality materials. Vaccumed packed down well. Pump/Sucktion is compact and works great and fast. Even used it to lump up lilos. Noisier than predicted. But not an issue. And the light with 2 brightness levels with a flip out handle for hanging is an unmentioned feature that came in handy.

Underwhelming

Compact size, but the vacuum function is underwhelming. It doesnโ€™t extract as much air as a manual hand pump, and you have to seal it immediately or it quickly reinflates. The one upside is that the bag itself is impressively sturdy and durable.

Faild on main purpose- non of the bags has hold vacumm all decompressed within 6 hours, all seems to be wery well made.Unfortunately even short 2h flight extends to more then that and holding pressure for extended period of time is a must.Bugs might be still water proof ( maby ).Bags are not cheap
